"All animals know it, except man, that the highest goal of life is joy." -Samuel Butler
I use R+. Clinton Anderson natural methods, and a little of me. I shift my approach based on what the horse shows me he/she needs. Body language means everything to me, and I have learned to read it well. I gentle and desensitize as they grow, not as a one-day flooding experience. They learn, not breakdown to "make it stop." I do not look at hurry, hurry, hurry. I go at his or her own speed. If you want quick, I am not the trainer for you. This is a journey. We become partners for life. Anything you need, we stay by your side. We are fair in pricing and credits for weather, illness, and share the load financially if a horse isn't achieving at a decent pace.
Blizzard loves tricks, and she needs to learn them to stay happy mentally. She is very mischievous and intelligent. Keep her busy, or watch her find ways to keep busy. Smartest horse I have worked with.
